| After ten years at the Treasury, Jean de Courcel became CFO of Schneider Electric where he played a key role in the group’s international development through innovative financing and non-strategic assets disposals.
Between 1995 and 1997, he was Deputy Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister's Private Office coordinating economic, budgetary, social and industrial policy making.
He became General Manager and a member of the Management Board of Crédit Agricole Indosuez, supervising more specifically the equity business line, he was then also Chairman and CEO of Cheuvreux, Crédit Agricole’s stockbroker.
Jean joined Penauille Polyservices, a leading company in industrial and airport services, when it was in an ailing condition after making a major acquisition. As CEO, he acted to restructure the group’s debt and management and to bring in a new majority shareholder.
