| Patrice Vial spent 20 years with the
French Treasury where he acquired extensive experience
in the conduct of privatisations, first hand exposure
to strategic industries (aerospace, defence, nuclear,
etc) and a deep knowledge of banks and financial institutions.
From 1993 to 1995, he was Directeur de Cabinet, the
ministry’s top executive position.
He joined Morgan Stanley in 1996 as Head of the Paris
office, where he actively participated in many of the
larger French transactions, IPOs and debt or equity
issues of the period.
In 2001, he founded his own independent advisory firm,
Innovial, and advises the board of several companies.
In parallel Patrice keeps an active interest in economic
policy matters and teaches the Economic Policy course
at sciences-Po Paris.
