| Peter Thickett has spent nearly twenty
years in corporate finance and has advised a large number
of clients, having led transactions, inter alia, in
the telecoms, chemicals, engineering, retail and financial
services sectors. He has a wide experience of transactions
in the UK, Continental Europe and Japan and has spent
protracted periods in Germany and Japan.
He started his career in M&A with S.G. Warburg
and then joined Wasserstein Perella’s London office
as a Managing Director. He subsequently joined Barclays
Capital as Head of Mergers and Acquisitions.
He has an MA Honours degree in modern languages from
St. John’s College, Cambridge and an MBA from
INSEAD. He is a fluent German and Japanese speaker.
